Its really difficult to get setteled in an other country where almost everything is different than what you have been practicing. The cultural shock alone is enough to make you think that why did I move here??
I moved from Pakistan to settle and begin a new life in Canada (one of the most advanced countries on the face of the earth). I didnt knew at the time that it would be so difficult to get started but i learend along the way that nothing comes easy..The most difficult bit was the weather, it was freezing cold in the winters and we have never experinced the kind of cold in my whole life, o` boy!
To be contd.....

Canada's health system
Canada's health system is based on universal healthcare system which doesnt cover you 100 % but maybe 75 %. Countries like Australia & Japan also follows the same system.
there are a few things that in my view can enhance the practicalty of the system. which are as follows,
1) If Canadian govt. can hire more experienced Doctors from the immigrants. I have seen a lot of doctors doing a menial job just because they are required to retake the professional exams.
2) If the Canadian govt. can setup extra centres for taking care of the Emergency scenarios then it could definitely cut on the waiting time that is not less than an agony for the already sick people.
3) If the Canadian govt. can import all the prescription drugs (which is really very expensive) form countries like China, India & Pakistan as they could get them in much cheaper rates can eventually benifit the patients.
These were a few areas that I thought could further improve the healthcare system of Canada.I would certainly like to know your comments on this topic.thanks

my city Lahore..
I really miss my city that is known as the heart of Pakistan "LAHORE".well it would be rather difficult to explain in words but still i ll try to explain..
Lahore is one of the oldest cities in the sub-continent had always been the center of attraction, due to its strategic location on a vital trade route linking South Asia and Central Asia, Lahore has been home to a succession of kingdoms and dynasties throughout its long history.
Lahore, city in northeastern Pakistan, on the River Ravi, capital of Punjab Province. It is the principal commercial, banking, and transportation center of the province. Although little industry is located in the city, Lahore serves as a distribution center for the heavily industrialized surrounding area. An educational and cultural center, the city is the site of the University of the Punjab, the oldest university in Pakistan; and the University of Engineering and Technology.
Lahore is very famous for its huge variety of spicy and delicious foods that I miss the most. It is also known as the food capital of Pakistan. Lahore is often regarded as the City of open hearted people who are very friendly and great sense of humor.
There is a lake that runs right through the middle of the city dividing the whole city in two parts..Lahore is more rich in green environment in the whole country. its a beautiful city, there is saying about lahore which I am going to translate,
he is not yet born, who has not seen lahore...
